From 26th to 28th April 2019, 13 outstanding young scholars from the United States, Germany, Switzerland and other countries, attended the 6th Wuhan University International Forum for Interdisciplinary Sciences and Engineering. MRI Director Prof. Hong-bing Shu, Associate Director Prof. Ke Lan and all PIs in MRI conducted a full exchange and had a comprehensive understanding of the Institute.

On the opening ceremony, MRI director Prof.Shu detailedly introduced different aspects of further development of MRI, which included personnel structure, scientific research, core facilities and management services as well as graduate education. He sincerely made invitations to these prominent young talents. Later, MRI staff led the group to visit the core facility centre, animal house and our PI labs etc. Scholars at the conference said that MRI is a new hi-tech leading research institute with a world-class scientific research platform and the management team. “it is more than I expected” one of the scholars said when the forum come to an end.
