Stem Cells and Development Biology:                                    

Dr.Wei Jiang:  The long-term goal of my career is to apply the basic knowledge from fundamental developmental biology and genetics/epigenetics as well as long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), to cell lineage differentiation aiming to uncover the molecule mechanism underlying endodermal disease such as diabetes, liver disease and pancreatic cancer. Stem cell differentiation would be an advanced model together with the CRISPR/Cas9 genome-editing technology.

Dr. Che-guo Cai: 1) Molecular mechanisms of adult stem cell self-renewal; 2) Molecular mechanisms of stem cell interact with immune cells;

                              3) Cellular origin and therapy of breast cancer.
